Join Montreal-based musician,
Chris Velan and friends in a live performance, presentations and complimentary networking reception hosted by 1% for the Planet.

1% for the Planet, member companies, and the NGOs they support will talk about the work they're collaborating on to revitalize the freshwater ecosystem in Quebec.

Waterways throughout Québec are threatened by industrial pollution, shipping, oil and gas development, and other economic activity. The presenters will share examples of public engagement and advocacy campaigns to protect rivers such as the St. Lawrence, and concerted interventions to improve water quality and aquatic habitats in urban areas.

Chris Velan is 1% member and Montreal-based singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is a passionate environmental and humanitarian activist, involved in CPAWS's Big Wild Initiative, focused on protecting Canada's wild places.
