Trees for Cities needs a team of volunteers to help clear some areas of overgrown woodland to regenerate it into a safe and welcoming environment. Tasks will include thinning trees, removing scrubs, planting a wildflower meadow and building/improving pathways.
Make sure you wear old, comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, full-length trousers and sturdy footwear – gloves will be provided for you. Please remember to bring a reusable coffee cup and water bottle, as well as sun-cream or waterproofs (dependent on weather). Lunch is not provided on the volunteer day.
