Located in Ballard on Puget Sound, Golden Gardens Park offers extraordinary views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Join Forterra in restoring the forest section of this beloved park. Volunteers will remove invasive weeds and plant native species that return the forest to a more natural ecosystem. Forterra will provide tools and training so they only need your enthusiasm. All ages are welcome. If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come with a waiver (found on the event page) signed by a parent or guardian.
Please wear sturdy pants, long-sleeved shirts, boots, and raingear. All tools, gloves, water, and snacks are provided.
