In order for promotional expenses to count toward your 1% commitment, we ask the following:

  • Ad must focus or include a clear spotlight on your giving to your approved nonprofit partner(s).

  • Ad must include the 1% for the Planet logo or our name. We have created editable templates that include both.

  • You must receive approval from your membership manager, before placing the ad.

  • After your ad is created, you must submit proof of the ad and expense receipts associated with the ad buy.

Please keep in mind:

  • When submitting an ad for approval, you’re also giving 1% for the Planet the right to use the ad for marketing and promotional purposes.

  • 1% for the Planet can determine at its discretion whether any ad meets the criteria required to qualify for this program and count toward your 1% giving commitment.

  • 1% for the Planet isn’t responsible in any way for any of the content of any ad we review.

  • If using an approved nonprofit partner’s name, logo or organizational description, the business member is solely responsible for confirming the details with the nonprofit partner.

  • When placing advertisements, member is responsible for adhering to all relevant laws and statutes. 1% for the Planet is not legally responsible for these communications.
