Katherine Cousins currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of Kodiak Group Holdings, Co., a subsidiary of VF Corporation. In this role, Katherine leads the global Kodiak, Terra and Dickies footwear brands as well as Work Authority, a work safety retailer in Canada. Previously, she served as Vice President of Global Strategy, Licensing and Accessories for the Timberland brand. She led the strategy, research and corporate social responsibility functions as well as the outdoor lifestyle brand's licensing and accessories businesses. Since joining Timberland in 2005, Katherine has held roles in strategy, business development and investor relations.
Prior to joining Timberland, Katherine has broad experience in international development, consulting, telecommunications and banking. She served as a Senior Associate at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, a consulting firm that provides strategic advisory services to international development and non-profit organizations. Katherine led efforts on behalf of Teledesic LLC to license global satellite service in Sub-Saharan Africa. She worked closely with national communications commissions and service providers to secure market access licenses and operating agreements. Katherine also completed a banking and management training program at Chase Manhattan in New York.
Outside of work, until early 2018, Katherine served as the Board Chair for the Global Development Incubator, a non-profit organization focused on scaling social enterprises around the world. In 2017, she co-founded Leadership Now Project, an organization focused on democratizing engagement and access to the political process.
Katherine received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Politics from Georgetown University, a Certificate of Political Studies from the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. She currently resides in West Newbury, MA with her husband and two children.
