Title: Senior Business Membership Manager, Regional Accounts
Team: Business Membership
Reports to: Jenny Kalanges, Director of Business Membership
Posting date: 9/1/2021
Starting salary: $75,000/year
Benefits: Summary of benefits provided below
The Senior Business Membership Manager, Regional Accounts will manage a team of regional business account managers. This Regional Team, sitting within the Business Membership Team, is responsible for our mid-size regional accounts, which represent the engine of much of our network growth and impact. The role will require a combination of excellent management skills as well as an astute understanding of business account management both in order to support team effectiveness and evolution, and also to provide support for member account management by regional team.
Reporting to the Director of Business Membership, this role will have an important voice in the overall work of this team, and it’s collaboration cross functionally with the other teams that contribute to account management - most notably the Brand & Marketing and Business Systems & Innovation Teams. As a manager of ultimately up to 5-7 team members, this role will serve on our internal Management Team, and in this capacity will be an important conduit of information to and from the Leadership and People & Culture Teams. Success for this role will be determined by a set of both internal and external metrics: Internal metrics include team well-being and performance, positive and effective cross-functional relationships and work flows, and integration of communications across teams as an outcome of Management Team participation. External metrics include outstanding regional membership results, regional member satisfaction, and effective global growth programming.
This role is a critical management role within the structure we are building to support our scaling global business member network. Passion for the work of serving direct reports in ways that enable them to be wildly successful, and demonstrated skill at working cross functionally to support collaborative team outcomes are critical components that the successful candidate will need to evidence.
