Our brand logos

1% for the Planet brand logos

1% for the Planet owns and uses several trademarks, certification marks and logos, which represent intellectual property rights owned by 1% for the Planet. Our marks, whether registered or unregistered, must be used in accordance with these Brand Guidelines.

Any use of our marks must be truthful, fair and not misleading. Unless a specific license has been granted by 1% for the Planet, our name or marks may not be used in a manner that suggests or implies 1% for the Planet’s endorsement or approval of any person, product, service or activity.

Primary logos

The 1% for the Planet Brand Logo represents the global brand identity of the 1% for the Planet organization. The proportions of these logos may not be altered in any way. Please use provided art files only.

The full-color version of our logo is NOT permitted to be altered in any way—including coloration.
The one-color version of our logo does not include the land and sea design, and the color CAN be customized to suit packaging needs.
When choosing an alternative color for the one-color logo, make sure it is consistent through the globe icon and word mark.
Make sure to select a color that maximizes legibility against its background.

Using the 1% for the Planet brand logo

Use this guide if...

  • You’re a media outlet or publication featuring 1% for the Planet
  • You’re an event partner
  • You’re a new 1% for the Planet member who hasn’t completed certification yet (more on that here)

Logo use on web

When used digitally, the 1% for the Planet logo should link directly to onepercentfortheplanet.org or your company’s 1% for the Planet profile in the member directory.

If a hyperlink is not possible, include accompanying text such as “Learn more at onepercentfortheplanet.org”

To maintain clarity and legibility, we recommend a minimum logo height 
of 75 pixels for web banners and email headers, and 80 pixels for standard web pages.

The 1% for the Planet logo may only be displayed in digital materials that are clearly identified as belonging to the certified business or impact partner, including visible use of the company or organization name or logo.

Logo use in print

For use on packaging, signage and printed materials, include the text “1ftp.co” alongside the 1% for the Planet logo to direct consumers to further details about the certification.Ensure that the 1% for the Planet logo and your company’s logo or name are positioned in close proximity. Please note, the following sizing guides are recommendations–we understand each package presents it’s own limitations.

PRIMARY LOGO MINIMUM SIZE

To ensure legibility, clarity and brand consistency, the height of the stacked logo should avoid being reduced to less than 0.25 inches in height.

When using the horizontal version of the logo, the overall height should avoid being shown at less than 0.16 inches.

1% for the Planet certified business seals in vertical and horizontal designs.

PRIMARY LOGO MINIMUM SIZE

To ensure legibility, clarity and brand consistency, the height of the stacked logo should avoid being reduced to less than 0.5 inches in height.

When using the horizontal version of the logo, the overall width should avoid being shown at less than 0.5 inches in length.

Logo use in video

When used in video ads, animations and films the logo must be shown in clear association with the certified company, either within the same frame as the company’s name or logo, or immediately following it as part of a continuous animated sequence.

Minimum safe space

The 1% for the Planet primary logo and certified seal should clear a safe distance from any other elements in a composition.
