Yes. Every.org will send your tax receipt by email. Be sure to enter your email address when prompted during the donation process.
Your donation is made to Every.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. They convert your crypto to USD and grant the funds to us, less a small processing fee. We do not handle or hold any cryptocurrency directly.
Yes—crypto donations are tax-deductible in the U.S. as allowed by law, just like stock donations.
- If you’re donating more than $500, you may need to file IRS Form 8283.
- If you’re donating more than $5,000, you’ll also need a qualified appraisal.
