A roundup of vibrant moments that brought Sessions 2026 to life
The 1% for the Planet community is more than a network—it’s a global movement rooted in local action. In 2026, Sessions is our invitation to step away from the digital noise and into the taprooms, cafes and creative spaces where this movement truly lives. These events are designed to spark the unfiltered conversations that only happen in person, bridging the gap between the local business members and environmental partners doing the work on the ground. From the Southern California coast to the heart of Berlin, our 2026 recap proves that when we show up to listen, learn and lead together, it creates lasting ripples of change.
Thanks to our generous 2026 presenting sponsor, who made this event programming possible: Nécessaire.

San Diego
On the tail end of Expo West and Business for Good Summit, we gathered at Pure Project North Park, a space that embodies the intersection of sustainable business and community. Building off the momentum from the week's events, we hosted a powerhouse panel featuring Mia Helminiak of Nomadix, Randi Christiansen of Nécessaire and Erika Rodriguez of Nadi Marketing. The discussion centered on how brands can maintain integrity while scaling and the importance of regional advocacy.
We were glad to be joined by local environmental leaders from WILDCOAST, Coastal Farms and Outdoor Outreach, along with representatives from San Diego Climate Week, who shared information about their regional impact.
"This event was so awesome! Huge credit to the planning team. Everyone was so friendly, interesting and the speaker panel was great. Loved the venue also, would love to attend again."—Nikki, Community Member
Special thanks to San Diego Community Sponsors BLDG Active, AVOCADO and Promix who made this event possible.

Sydney
To kick off Sydney Climate Action Week, our community met at Pablo & Rusty’s CBD Cafe for an evening of caffeine-fueled inspiration and connection. We heard from a diverse group of Australian leaders representing Optimising, Leif Products, 4Pines, OzHarvest and our hosts at Pablo & Rusty’s. The dialogue focused on the unique role of the Australian business community in driving global environmental solutions.
We were proud to highlight the critical work of environmental partners WIRES and OzHarvest, showcasing the tangible impact of 1% for the Planet giving within the region.
"A really great, inspiring evening reinforcing the good that comes from being a 1% for the Planet member."—Richard, Pablo & Rusty’s
Special thanks to Sydney Community Sponsor PURPOSELY for making this evening of conversation possible.
