$1 billion for the planet
A MILESTONE IN THE MAKING
2024 was a big year for nature and business, with voices from across government, finance and corporate consultancy highlighting the need for businesses to get serious about how they impact, and are impacted by, nature.
Because we are also a working farm, stewarding 12 acres of sustainably grown vegetables, we were able to feed 1,800 people on a weekly basis—70% of them being lower-income community members.
I fell in love with the philosophy under the Patagonia business model and their attention to the environment. I made a promise to donate something every day for a month. Given my love for the initiative, my direct choice went to 1% for the Planet. That’s why I’m donating €15 every day.
We were proud to support 1% for the Planet as a lead donor for their year-end Challenge Grant campaign. As a dedicated member, we believe in the transformative impact of the 1% for the Planet global community.
