How it works
There are three levels of 1% for the Planet membership


Full Company
For full company members, we certify giving for 1% of your company’s total annual revenue. Because you give 1% of your total annual revenue to environmental causes, you can use our 1% for the Planet logo across every channel and on all of your products. You can become a full-company member no matter how much your company does in annual sales.


Product Line
Product line members commit to giving 1% of revenue from the sales of a specific product or service.
- Product line members must choose a product line that has at least $2.5 million USD in annual sales
- Product line members may use the 1% for the Planet logo only on products that are registered under their membership
- You must be able to submit proof of revenue for only the product(s) registered under your product line membership at the time your certification is due
EXAMPLES:
- Your top selling item, service, SKU or “hero product” like Avocado Green Mattress
- A category of products or services like Coyuchi, Fair Trade & Fibershed Wool products
Flexible Giving Options
We believe in the power of relationships between businesses and Environmental Partners.
Each year, at least half of your giving must be monetary and up to one half of your giving can be in the form of these non-monetary options:
- In-kind donations
- Employee volunteer time
- 1% for the Planet Advertising donations
